VACANT BOARD POSITIONS
- Communications Director – are you great at writing or designing things in InDesign or Canva? Do you love getting the word out? Are you social media savvy? This position helps with design, communications, and our newsletters. This position works closely with VP2 all things comms.
- Volunteer Director – help recruit and manage the league’s volunteers.
- Buildings & Grounds Director – Overseeing operations of the Ekota Rink and other Knottwood facilities
- Community Meal Kitchen Lead – we will be hosting more community meals in our new Centre. We need someone to organize the kitchen-end of community meals, from food purchasing to wrangling and managing volunteer cooks, etc.
- Newsletter Coordinator – do you love designing in Canva? We need someone to help design and mail out a quarterly physical newsletter to members. This position will work closely with the Communications Director and VP2.
- Satoo Rep / Ekota Rep / Menisa Rep – If you are looking for a smaller commitment, one of the rep positions may be for you. The community reps report to the Board on issues happening in each area, what’s happening in the schools, etc and helps to get the word out to neighbours about upcoming events.
OTHER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: photographers, videographers, event volunteers, administrative help, volunteer cooks and food preppers for community meals, neighbourhood connectors, running individual programs and more.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND. You will also need a Knottwood Community League membership to attend and vote.
