Free Compost Available Starting May 1

Each year, the City produces this weed-free compost from yard waste dropped off at Eco Stations and from residential curbside collections. High-quality horticultural compost is available for resident pickup at the Ambleside and Kennedale Eco Stations from May 1 to June 28, at no charge while quantities last.

Park Stewardship Season Kickoff Event

Thursday, May 28th, Invasive Plant Outreach and Partners in Parks will be teaming up to host a season kickoff event at Hudson Park from 6 PM – 8:30 PM. This is a free, all-ages drop-in event open to all! There will be family-friendly games, giveaways and educational activities for everyone to enjoy, including a weed pull in the park’s berry patch stewarded by community members!
