Knottwood Snow Clearing Update

Phase 2 of the City’s Residential Parking Ban has begun and plowing Knottwood will begin Wednesday, January 21, 2026. All vehicles MUST be moved off the streets and it will take three (3) full days to clear.

Not moving cars means either slowing down crews, streets not being cleared or windrows around vehicles. It’s also disrespectful to your neighbours. Enforcement officers are issuing tickets for vehicles left on the road.

During clearing:

• No parking on residential streets or cul-de-sacs

• Ban in effect 24/7 (paused weekends: Fri 7 PM – Mon 7 AM)

Parking options:

• Garages, driveways, alleys

• Roads cleared in Phase 1

• Paid parking where allowed

Stay informed:

• Watch for yellow “No Parking” signs at neighbourhood entrances

• Windrows may form; crews will reopen driveways

• Property owners are responsible for remaining snow on private property
