Have you been wanting to learn how to crochet? Join our introductory crochet workshop and learn how to make a dishcloth.

In this class you will be taught the basic chain stitch, and the double crochet stitch to make your dishcloth. With the skills taught you will be able to make more dishcloths at home.

Materials are not included in the class – the material list is below. You can purchase materials at any Michaels Store, on Amazon, or at our nearest independent yarn store The Fibre Nook (located at 9864 63 ave).

Materials Required

1 – 50-gram ball of crafting cotton yarn (suggested brands: Bernat Handicrafter, Lily Sugar’n Cream, Estelle Yarns Sudz)

1 – 4.5mm crochet hook (any size between 4mm-5mm is ok. Plastic hooks can break easily so I recommend metal ended hooks)

Scissors

Darning needle

Tape measure (optional)
