

Canadian Red Cross Babysitting Course

| $72.00 – $80.00Are you a young person between 11 and 15 looking to learn basic first aid and caregiving skills? Babysitting is a job with significant responsibility, and this Babysitting Course, taught by Little Lungs First Aid, will help prospective babysitters learn the essential skills they need.
This course is designed for youth aged 11 to 15 years old and teaches them the necessary skills to provide care to children in various situations.
Course Content:
- How to be responsible and demonstrate leadership
- How to make good decisions and manage difficult behaviours
- Information on children’s developmental stages and specific strategies for each stage
- How to feed, diaper, dress, and play with children and babies
- How to recognize and prevent unsafe situations, make safe choices, and promote safe behaviours
- First aid skills
- The business of babysitting

- Babysitter’s Manual
- Completion Certificate

Community League Member Price: $72 per student
Non-Member Price: $80 per student
