This class provides all the physiological benefits of sustainable yoga, like listening to our body during yoga practice, understanding the alignments and staying with the breath and learning to integrate mindfulness into everyday life. The asana portion of the class is conducted slowly, mindfully, and infused with guidance, such as stopping and looking deeply into the nature of the body, appreciating the group of practitioners, observing the breathing, inviting the bell to sound, and similar awareness practices.

This class will allow you to:

  • Learn basic asanas and yoga stretching integrated with mindfulness;
  • Cultivate awareness of your body;
  • Enjoy fun, non-judgemental mindfulness activities to cultivate the awareness of present moment;
  • Develop increased awareness of breathing, being in present moment and self-compassion;
  • Gain a better understanding of alignments details and frequent listening to your body; and,
  • Help facilitate improvements in emotional regulations, focus and engagements and help reduce stress.

Cost:
Community League Members (any league:) $100
Non-members: $130
