Event Overview:

Join us for an evening focused on building a stronger, safer community by encouraging neighbours to work together in preventing crime. Security experts Donny Lavoie and Kimberly Shaw will share valuable insights on crime prevention, home safety, and reducing fear within our neighborhood.

The event will begin by highlighting the importance of community-driven crime prevention, emphasizing the power of residents working together to create a safer environment. Donny and Kimberly will discuss effective community crime prevention strategies, exploring the role of active community engagement, reviewing local crime statistics, and explaining how cooperation among neighbours can deter criminal activity.

They will also cover essential home safety tips, including practical measures such as securing yard tools and equipment to prevent theft, installing motion-activated lighting, and the benefits of using security cameras. Additionally, they will offer guidance on setting up home security systems, warn against sharing vacation plans on social media, and recommend simple steps like trimming hedges to improve visibility around your home.

Throughout the event, attendees are encouraged to ask questions and engage in discussion.
