The Knottwood Community League continues its efforts to try and help in providing crime prevention information and communicates with the EPS, Edmonton Neighbourhood Watch, and our City Councillor regarding challenges our community faces.
Councillor Nickel has heard from us and other communities and has taken the initiative to bring us in direct contact with the Chief of Police.
Due to the growing number of concerns of safety within Ward 11, Councillor Nickel is initiating a community policing program. The objective is to find out the specific policing needs of each community and figure out how to best deploy our policing resources.
There will be two sessions:

As you are likely already aware, Councillor Nickel is not allowed to direct the police, which is why Chief McFee has agreed to come listen to concerns.
