The benches are here and those who have adopted them have started the process of painting and placing them in their yards for the community to enjoy.
We are still looking for one person/family to adopt a bench as part of the first rollout. You get to paint it however you like (all materials supplied to you at no cost), AND help to reduce social isolation, improve walkability and increase safety in Knottwood.
We are also planning a second roll-out of benches, so you can also add your name to a waiting list by emailing programs@knottwoodcommunity.ca.
