Teens can receive a lot of benefits from yoga. Aside from the many physical benefits, yoga can also teach young people techniques for coping with stress and the issues they face, such as insecurity about their changing bodies, the pressure to fit in, stressful school situations, and more.

The program is conducted in a fun non-competitive environment focusing on equality and honouring the uniqueness of each individual. Students will learn physical and mental balance and techniques to ease stress and build confidence.  The primary focus is on body balance, mindfulness and relaxing techniques with fun, contemplation and commitment. Plus learning the benefits of various practices for self-regulation and personal growth. Breathing practices, short meditations and relaxation techniques are also included. Partner or acro-yoga will also be performed.
