DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce our new wood sign making class! This is a twist on the traditional paint night where you choose your design\, paint it\, put on the hardware\, take it home and hang it. Enjoy a relaxing evening while painting a custom sign for your home or office or make it as a thoughtful gift for a loved one. \nHow does it work?\nYou will have 21 different sign options to choose from (see below). When registering\, indicate which sign you would like to create. When you arrive\, your chosen design and wood will be waiting for you. All you need to do is choose your stain/paint colours from the selection. You will be instructed on how to do the rest! \n\nWhat if I’m not creative?\nDon’t worry! This is not ‘free-hand’ painting\, so painters do not need to be creative but if you are a bit more artistic\, feel free to add your own special touches. \nCost:\nCommunity League Members: $35\nNon-members: $45 \nFor ages 13 years old and up \nTo register:\nRegister below. DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, February 11\, 2018\n 10 weeks\n 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. \nTeens can receive a lot of benefits from yoga. Aside from the many physical benefits\, yoga can also teach young people techniques for coping with stress and the issues they face\, such as insecurity about their changing bodies\, the pressure to fit in\, stressful school situations\, and more. \nThe program is conducted in a fun non-competitive environment focusing on equality and honouring the uniqueness of each individual. Students will learn physical and mental balance and techniques to ease stress and build confidence.  The primary focus is on body balance\, mindfulness and relaxing techniques with fun\, contemplation and commitment. Plus learning the benefits of various practices for self-regulation and personal growth. Breathing practices\, short meditations and relaxation techniques are also included. Guest speakers will attend and provide information and advice. Learn how to report vandalism\, graffiti\, crime and suspicious activities.
