SUMMARY:Self Defense Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Being a victim is a topic that people would like to avoid. Unfortunately\, we live in an increasingly dangerous society where we’re faced with bullying\, assaults\, and other forms of aggression. Learning to defend yourself is an important life skill. \nSpend 3 hours with us learning some simple and effective self-defense tactics that one day may be needed to defend yourself or loved ones. \nOur aim is to help you build confidence while we teach you effective and efficient techniques and tactics to be able to defend yourself in a range of situations. \nLearn the same techniques and tactics that we have taught to individuals in law enforcement\, security\, and the Military.\nWe will incorporate weapon defense\, use of surroundings and psychological techniques in our workshop. \nSaturday\, February 24 \, 2024\n1-4 p.m.\nKnottwood Community Centre \n$20 for CL members\n$30 for non-CL members \nWe will need a minimum of 6 participants for the workshop to run\, so if you’re interested\, please help us spread the word! \nQuestions?
