DESCRIPTION:Babysitting is a job with significant responsibility and this Babysitting Course\, taught by St. John Ambulance\, will help prospective babysitters learn the skills they need. \nThis course is for youth aged 11 to 15 years old. It teaches the new babysitter the necessary skills to provide care to children in a variety of situations. \nThe course emphasizes safety rules\, responding to emergencies\, and developing leadership skills. \nCOURSE CONTENT \nBecoming a babysitter\nBasic first aid\nHealthy meals\nSafe play\nChanging diapers\nBedtime routines\nHandling emergencies \nParticipants will also learn skills for making correct decisions when dealing with behaviour\, caring for a sick child\, and what to ask before caring for a child with disabilities. \nSaturday\, Oct 21\, 2023\n9 am to 4 pm \nCost:\nCL Member price: $70 per student\nNon-Member price: $80 per student \nPREREQUISITES\nMust be 11 years old \nQuestions?
