DESCRIPTION:Join us\, the Edmonton International Street Performers Festival\, and a variety of special guests\, as we officially open our new Knottwood Community Centre and celebrate our 45th birthday on Community League Day. \nConstruction is now complete on our new Centre and it’s time to fling open the doors and party! \nSCHEDULE OF EVENTS: \n(Pre-event) Noon to 12:30 pm – Edmonton International Street Performers’ Parade – join in the back of the parade!\n1 to 1:30 pm – Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in front of the hall with elected officials\, elder Gilman Cardinal and special guests.\n1:30 to 4 pm – Grand Opening Celebrations \n– Tour the new Centre\n– Take part in our own Street Performers Festival in Knottwood with mini variety shows and roving characters\, including stilt walkers\, The Brasstastics band\, magicians\, clowns\, circus dogs and more.
