DESCRIPTION:Science is fun and exciting! Based on STEM education (Science\, Technology\, Engineering\, and Math)\, this Engineering for Kids workshop is designed in a way that kids won’t notice that they are learning these subjects because they are having too much fun. \nLet’s Make Toys: Junior Mechanical Engineering!  \nIn the 4-week Junior Mechanical Engineering: Let’s Make Toys class\, our youngest engineers (ages 4 to 6) will be introduced to fundamental concepts of energy\, materials\, and movement. Students will explore and construct five different toys throughout this unit\, including spinners\, magical boomerang cans\, poppers\, and more. \nJr. Mechanical: Let’s Make Toys\nSaturdays (4 weeks)\nMay 19 to June 9\n10:30-11:30am\nKnotwood Community Hall \nAges 4-6\n12 participants max (6 minimum to run the class) \nCost per child: \nCommunity League members (any league): $70\nNon-members: $80 \nPlease register below. \nQuestions? Students will walk away with exciting take home builds and an in-depth knowledge on basic circuits. \nElectrified: power up the world\nSaturdays (4 weeks)\nMay 19 to June 9\n12:00 to 1:30 p.m.\nKnottwood Community Hall \nAges 7-14\n14 participants max (6 required to run the class) \nCost per child: \nCommunity League members (any league): $100\nNon-members: $110 \nPlease register below. \nQuestions?
