The Couch to 5K running program is for the total beginner* and will provide lots of information and motivation to get that first 5K under you belt in a non-intimidating environment. In addition to running, this 7-week class includes a variety of topics including injury prevention, running gait, strength training and stretching; nutrition and hydration; and how to incorporate running into your overall fitness plan. Optional 5K run and wrap-up on October 24.
*Only prerequisite: you must be able to walk for a minimum of 30 minutes.
